October gives us LGBT History Month as well as National Coming Out Day. The GLCCB found a way to celebrate both in one afternoon and jam pack the celebration with food, vendors, local organizations and a live DJ. Just when you thought there couldn’t possibly be more, there will also be a gallery opening and a live painting. Be sure not to miss the LGBT History Month installation and awards program, which will be hosted by Gay Life’s newest columnist, Miss Tia Chambers at 2 p.m. The program will honor 31 Maryland LGBT community builders and allies.
